TERRY ROGERS IS ONE OF US...
After graduating from Berry College in 1977, Terry moved to Habersham County and has been a resident of Northeast Georgia ever since. After a 25 year career in sales, marketing and banking, Terry founded Diversified Technologies in 2001. Diversified Technologies is a small business specializing in the brokering of recycled plastics worldwide. Terry currently serves as a Managing Partner of the company.
Terry was first elected to represent District 10 in November of 2011. He currently serves on the Economic Development and Tourism, Defense and Veterans Affairs, and Human Relations and Aging Committees of the Georgia State House. Terry has served as Chair of the Banks, Rabun, and Habersham County Joint Development Authority, as well as Vice Chair of the Habersham Development Authority. He is a Rotarian and serves on the Executive Board of the Northeast Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is also a graduate of the Georgia Acadamy of Economic Development.
Terry and his wife Laura live on their farm near Clarkesville. They have five grown children and one grandchild. Terry and Laura are active members of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarkesville, where Terry is an Elder.
